If you come across a guy in the hostel with a real toothy smile you know it for sure he is 'kentu'. Bibhash in his ever exuberant moods gives you an impression of a happy man. Besides being a meritorious scholar, he is a football player with a professional touch. He could distinguish himself in table-tennis as well. Despite being well out of the in-crowd, his love for pop music justifies his personality as a delightful compromise between simplicity and groovy stuff.

1972-1982: sailed with the Scindia Steam Navigation.
1982-1989: sailed with the Barber Ship Management.
1989-1995: Joined Univan Ship Management Co., Hong Kong. as Engineering Superintendent, promoted to Senior Superintendent in 1991. Became Head of Quality Management Systems in 1992, set down company policies and procedures and obtained ISO 9002 certification for the company. At same time obtained the DNV SEP and ISM Code certification for the company
Since 1995: Joined New Asian Ship Management, a startup unit of Mitsui O.S.K.Lines. After Initial task of formulating and setting up procedures for the quality management systems and obtaining certification, shifted back to the Technical Division.
