Endowed with a searching mind, he was always trying to find out the how & why of things. Frail that he was, he was good at Volleyball and was an exemplary captain. Politically mature, he was in real form during the Indo-Pak war and on the night of the Pakistani surrender, his speech to the nation deserved to be covered in most, if not all, the newspapers |
