Name (Roll Number) Abhay Bhagwat (1463)
This is Me

Then & Now

Date of Birth: 29th March 1950
This is how they described me in the college Yearbook: Unassuming and devoid of any hypocrisy, 0. J, was one of the most popular guys of the batch. Life to him is one big exciting adventure and he lives it to the full. He shunned petty squabbles, never grumbled and was forever cheerful. A man of principles, he was no stick-in-the-mud. Always ready to take the lead in any outing, he impressed everyone with his courage and enthusiasm. Happiest when paddling down the Hooghly or hitch-hiking to Bombay, he might even regard a ship-wreck as nothing but an experience. Very intelligent, he managed to stay on the top in class throughout. He played all games but excelled in basketball. With his sound 'funda' of workshop knowledge, he possesses all the qualities likely to make a fine marine-engineer.
