This is Me
Then & Now |
|
Date of Birth: | 11th December 1949 |
| This is how they described me in the College Yearbook: |
Here is the wise old man of our batch. He likes speaking when spoken to and glows if complimented about his maturity. Very firm on his opinions, he defends them through thick and thin against even other 'know-alls'. Always prim and proper, with never a stitch out of place, even when on the tennis court, he attends fall-ins regularly and is the goody-goody cadet. But come 5 0'clock, and Josie, Spruced up and looking in his prime, leaves the confines of the campus to merge with the gay world outside. Romantically inclined, he should keep alive the girl-in-every-port myth.
Editorial Comment: This was the time when the word 'gay' had an unambigous and disctinctly different meaning. |
