| This is how they described me in the College Yearbook: | Surendra could veritably be called a true sportsman. It was uncanny to see him excelling in practically every branch of sports and games with footboll, hocky, basketball, cricket, table tennis, chess to name but a few! Journalism and correspondence were his passions and it was a very common sight to see him penning away numerable articles and letters which he would promptly despatch to various periodicals. People fall in love at first sight, but Surendra, of course, had to be unique; he fell in love at first letter! |
